I have been certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist (CHt) since 2007. The area of mental health that research has shown hypnosis to be the most effective, is in the area of stress/anxiety. This can be as broad as simply managing daily stress, or as narrow as a specific phobia or OCD behaviors and hoarding. I routinely incorporate the use of trance work into my practice, where there is clear benefit to my clients. Some of the most common issues addressed by hypnosis have been focused on smoking cessation, and behavior modification. Specific to the latter, I have successfully helped people cease hoarding, weight loss, test anxiety, OCD behaviors, nail biting, and Trichotillomania (hair pulling).
